NDMP backup successful but incomplete

Hi All,

I got an NDMP client using Netapp with one file /vol/SV_ora_backup. When i run the full backup gets a complete backup but backup only a few kilobites (669 GB).

The actual size of the the file is 10.8TB.

Kindly help me for this issue.. Thankss

what is the Storage and transport  you are using.. and also what are the netbackup versions?

does you backup compleate with status code 0 or 1?

We are using IBM TS 3500 storage and Fiber connection

Master Server and Media Server  = 7.5.0.5

The backup complete with status 0

Make sure you have enough diskspace first in your media server, then enable DebugLevel=6 of ndmpagent (OID=143) logs. 

Run the backup again, and collect the ndmpagent logs it shall tell you what files & dirs it's going through. Analyze them and find out what files are not being picked up, then compare with the logs in your NAS storage to check whether it has the correct permission / path to read those files.
