NetBackup Exclude Lists entry disappears

NBU 7.0 on Windows Server 2008

Under what conditions, other than me simply losing my mind, would the entries in a client's exclude list disappear?  I have one particular server from which I know I have excluded D:\ at least 3 or 4 times over the past couple of years.  It isn't a huge problem so I haven't researched a solution.  But I was thinking that if one exclude list disappears, how many exclude lists from other clients are also gone.  Other than someone manually changing the client properties or a complete uninstall/reinstall of nbu, are there any other scenarios that would cause the exclude list to be removed?  Maybe Windows patching?

Thanks in advance for the tremendous outpour of support from my fellow nbu inmates.

The Windows exclude list is stored on the client as a registry key

It is usually maintaned during patching but always worth checking, especially when doing a full version upgrade.

An uninstall / reinstall of NBU would remove it

It is held at HKLM\Sofwtare\Veritas\netbackup\currentversion\config\ - the "Exclude" key

A windows update shouldn't affect it - only NBU changes / manual operations

Hope this helps
