NetBackup LiveUpdate status code -2001

With my master/media servers running 8.1.1, I'm now pushing the new client (8.1.1) via LiveUpdate. LiveUpdate has been working fine except for a few client (all RHEL servers running NetBackup 8.1.0.0) with the same status code (77 for the job; and status -2001 in liveupdate log file). Does anyone have a suggestion to fix this? ... see logs below.

These errors are in you nbliveup.log:

2> ....FORCEKILL SKIPNBLU, status = 0, <errno = 9: Bad file descriptor.

16> nbliveup main: Java LiveUpdate failed, could not connect to LiveUpdate Server location http://**NBLU_server_URL**

The issue appears to be related to configuration of IIS on your LU server, with the information provided.

I would recommend that you follow again each of the steps in the following document:

Ensure you have updated MIME information:

-> Double click on MIME Types

-> Click Add on the right side action panel.

-> File name extension: “.flg”

-> MIME Type: “Application/octet-stream”

One other option is to ensure that you add the LiveUpdate server address into 'Trusted Sites' list on your browser

IE location: (Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites)

Different for each browser
