Here the error code says about whilelist path but whitelist path is correctly set and also if we check logs it shows as whitelist path found. But still fails.
While list path is set as below also ALTPATH folder presents on /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv/
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv/netbackup
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv/netbackup/
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /opt/VRTSpbx
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv/db
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv/var/global/
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv/netbackup/logs
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/
BPCD_WHITELIST_PATH = /usr/openv/netbackup/bin
Please let me know if there is any way we can make this restore work. It can be a version issue but if it is how my backup works from 8.1.2 client to 7.7.3 media server. Please advice.
Client should never be higher version than master or media server. This type of configuration is not supported by Veritas.
Clients are last in the list to be upgraded.
1. Ops Center (if present)
2. Master server
3. Media Server(s)
Please upgrade your server(s) ASAP as version 7.7.x is no longer supported.
