Using accelerator and client side dedup features, we can reduce the backup window. But I would like to know the impact of enabling these 2 options. And also what are the requirements(memory, cpu) requirements for these..

Why not benchmark the options yourself ?

Requirements for CPU and memory is documented in the PDF's.

I understand that the first step is to identify the client's disk read ability by using bpbkar test run. If that is fine, then next step is to check the network speed using ftp.

I don't find anywhere in the documents regarding cpu, memory requirements on client.
