NetBackup for VMWare - BLIB and defrag?

Just started using the Netbackup for VMware and we're backing up VMs using block level incrementals (BLIB).

If we have Diskeeper running with automatic defrag enabled, would the VDAP flag all MOVED blocks as changed and then NetBackup will include them in an Incremental?

Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide.

Interesting question. It probably would but if you're running it regularly the impact would be minimal. The defrag wont move all blocks only a small percentage, especially if you do it daily? All depends on the file system usage pattern of course.

These technotes may be of interest - there are a warning about known issues with vSphere 4.0 & VMware Change Block Tracking (CBT).  I think it has been fixed in 4.1
