We have the following configuration:
HP-UX running oracle on an HP EVA 3000. The media server is running hpux and the master server is running windows 2003. We want to be able to use advance client to do hot backup of the oracle db on the eva 3000. Does anyone out there have such a set up and is it working? The advance client would be used to put the db on the eva in hot backup mode take snapshot and then release it while we back it up using the hpux media server. Thanks in advance.
