I have discovered that since upgrading from 6.5.3 to 6.5.4 some of my sql server backups are missing databases. If I rerun the job manually , I can see the job backup the first 3 DB, skip the next 2 , and continue with the final DB. I have found 3 SQL servers doing this. I wondered if others had seen this behavior?

As I said, it is odd because DB's are getting backed up in the policy, only a select few are being skipped.
