Netbackup 7.0 problems with BMR - some help please ?

Hello , we have a relatively new NBU 7.0 setup running on a Master and 2 Media Servers, but have an issue with the BMR sideof things

Environment:
Master/BMR Boot Server :   XXXMAST1  -  Dell R610  2 X Quad core 16GB - W2K8 Enterprise R2
Media:   XXXMED1  -  Dell R810  2 X Quad core 32GB - W2K8 Enterprise R2
Media:   XXXMED2  -  Dell R810  2 X Quad core 32GB - W2K8 Enterprise R2
DSSU - 40TB SATA in a Nexsan SASBeast Fiber attached - Split 20Gb/20GB between the media servers
Library - Quantam Scalar i500 , 80 slots 4 X LT04.
NBU 7.0 on all 3 servers , clients mostly 7.0, some 6.5 , all clients are W2k, W2K3, W2K8

By and large the setup is working well, and we are succesfully collecting BMR data on a nightly basis from all the clients.
I thought I would try a BMR test restore and immediately hit problems..

Problem 1.

I created an SRT using the included .wim file in the disk, I was able to create the SRT just fine.
When I came to run the BMR Boot Assistant  > SRT Administration Wizard > Create a fast restore CD/DVD Image,
it fails instantly with a pop-up message "An error occurred while attemting to create the bootable iso image" , and no real indication as to why it failed..
Extended details are:-

Problem 2.

If I go into a client using the BMR management > BMR Clients and right click on a particular host and select prepare to restore, it instantly fails with "the requested operation could not be completed. The server returned code 193." . Again no real indication what that means, and all my research has drawn a blank.

Any ideas/input  gratefully recieved. The fact that I am collecting data succesfully makes me think that BMR has installed OK, but is it possible that some more setup activities still need to take place before I can BMR restore a client ?

Many Thanks..

I don't believe Netbackup supports BMR backups of Windows Server 2008 and its variants just yet.

Which clients are you getting these errors on when trying to prepare to restore?

we haven't had a chance to try the BMR setup with it as of yet.  It was a pretty straight forward upgrade though.

we have also faced similar kind of issues when tried with 2008 clients..i think it better available in 7.0.1 ....not yet tested.

BMR for 2k8 is supported since 7.0.1

If you installed Master or Boot Server on 2k8 you should to run Admin Console and BMR SRT tools always as administrator (right click).

You need to upgrade to 7.0.1 to do a BMR on a Windows 2008 Server.
