Netbackup 7.01 Master cluster - MSDTC?

Two node - active/passive MSCS cluster - two Windows 2003 SP2 64bit servers running NB 7.0.1.  I did not create the MSDTC resource ..... but getting event log msgs 'The Distributed Transaction Coordinator service terminated unexpectedly'.  Is the MSDTC resource required for a Netbackup Cluster?

NBU does not require MSDTC as far as I know, but it does require the PBX service (which is clustered after installing NBU in MSCS).
