Our backups of Oracle 11G with Netbackup ( integration with BRTools ) is failing since we upgraded from 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.3 . We are getting network connection timed out ( 41 ) . Has anybody faced this issue before . We have tried to increase the time outs but to no effect

Verify client connectivity from the master or media server using bptestbpcd (see link) . I do not believe the Oracle upgrade is related to the status 41.
Has ORACLE_HOME been updated and initSID.sap & .utl copied to the new ORACLE_HOME ?

A status 54 (Network connect timeout) sometimes manifest as status 41 (also 'network connect timeout').

Please let us know if this a cluster and if there are multiple IP addresses associated with one hostname as per the TN.
