Netbackup 7.7.1 backup error code 213

Hi all, registered an account to get help with a product we are using. 

netbackup 7.7.1
We recently encountered issues with one of our backup policy. It fails with error nbjm(pid=7416) NBU status: 213 EMM status: Storage units are not available. 

Has anyone encounter this before or can advise the trouble shooting steps?

Which type of Storage Units?

Status 213 troubleshooting is quite different depending if storage is tape or disk and type of disk.

Generic troubleshooting steps can be found in NetBackup Status Codes Reference Guide  

NetBackup status code: 213
Message: no storage units available for use
Explanation: The NetBackup resource broker (nbrb) did not find any storage units available for use. Either all storage units are unavailable or all storage units are configured for On demand only. In addition, the policy and schedule does not require a specific storage unit.
Recommended Action: Do the following, as appropriate:

thanks! Based on the troubleshooting managed to get it backup and running. Somehow a person deleted the media server and didn't inform us about it!
