Hi,
With 64TB MSDP support, we use to provision one smaller volume from storage to MSDP server and expand as the environment grows. But 96TB MSDP pool requires 4 separate volumes as mentioned in the below table and URL. Does that mean we need to allocate 96TB storage all at once? Is there anyway to start with smaller size and expand when more capacity is required the way we do with 64TB pool?

Table: Volumes for 96-TB Media Server Deduplication Pool support
Size Description Suggested mount point
1 TB | The volume for the MSDP catalog (the deduplication database). | /msdp/cat |
32 TBs | The first volume for the MSDP storage. This volume contains backup data, configuration files, and log files. | /msdp/vol0 |
32 TBs | The second volume for the MSDP storage. This volume contains backup data. | /msdp/vol1 |
32 TBs | The third volume for the MSDP storage. This volume contains backup data. | /msdp/vol2 |
Appreciate your views on this.

I don't you can upgrade the pool to 96. It would be for new pool installation only since the structure is inheritently different.

This is not for upgrade. I am creating new MSDP pool with new media server. Should I assign all 96TB at once?
