Hello,
We are using Netbackup 7.5.0.4 in a Linux RedHat environment. However, we have several Windows 2008/2012 Servers that we need to backup All_LOCAL_DRIVES. From what I know you need Netbackup Client installed on the Windows server in order for Netbackup to communicate for the backups. Can someone confirm if this is the correct Client to download/install from Symantec File Connect?
Netbackup_7.5_Win_zip.1of2
Netbackup_7.5_Win_zip.2of2

That would be the server installation files, when you extract the files you will find a folder named PC_Clnt with two additional folder x86 (32 bit) and x64 (64 bit). These are the binaries that you will need to install the client software package.

Looks about right, they need concatenating together to form a good fully formed zip, details with the download. Oh and 2012 isnt supported til 7.5.0.6 according to scl
so you will probably need to upgrade the master a touch.

Base 7.5 install will not work.
This client version will work with 7.5.0.4 master.

Hi Marianne,
Let's just focus on the Windows Server 2008 and leave out 2012 for the moment. All I will need to do is a full install of the netbackup client in order for me to backup that server?
Using:
Netbackup_7.5_Win_zip.1of2
Netbackup_7.5_Win_zip.2of2
Extracing the files and within there find the folder PC_Clnt and execute those binaries to install the client
Correct?
