Netbackup start-up issue

HI everyone ,

can you please let me know what went wrong with my netbackup from the logs....I am unable to start the netbackup and get the java console...

thought there was a problem with file system coz  I have mounted /usr on separate file system....even after e2fsck command there is no much difference....find the logs below when I start the Netbackup maually

You did not give us any logs or information about your installation...

NBU version?
OS?

What happened before you did fsck?
Error when trying to mount the filesystem?
What did fsck report? Did it run through clean or lots of errors that had to be fixed?
Filesystem type?

Have you checked syslog? e.g. /var/adm/messages on Solaris, /var/log/messages on Linux.
This might tell us what went wrong - disk errors, file system corruption, etc...

Hopefully you have a recent catalog backup...

I see a lot of "Segmentation fault". Try rebooting and restart Netbackup.

 

I agree with Marianne, we need more information.

If you need to let your NetBackup working ASAP, consider to re-install and recover from latest catalog backup.
