Recently, on the weekend when full backups are funning, I am seeing high CPU on the master server. The master server has 4 - 2.4ghz processors and 4 Gb of RAM installed. There are 10 media servers which also run 2008 R2 64-bit. During this time, my duplications sit in the queue and the catalog backup will fail on this day with status 41. All other backups continue to run fine through the media servers. I was unable to determine what processes were using the most CPU during this time. I did notice an error in the event viewer stating 'The Netbackup Database Manager service terminated The device is not ready..... I also saw a few entries regarding a media server that wasn't resolving correctly. What logs or what should I be looking at if this happens again?
