Number of clients discrepancy

SARA_8

Number of clients in Host Properties/clients is much less than the number of clients in  summary of all policies ( unique clients )

The difference is more than 100 clients !

Can someone please help with this discrepancy ?

master is 7.6.0.2

bpplclients -noheader -allunique command shows the same number in summary of all policies

Thanks

How many VMware clients in your environment?

If my information is correct, then clients in VMware intelligent policies will not show up in Host Properties.

Summary of all clients in all policies will show the same client multiple times if it is in multiple policies.

For example, I have two clients on my test server, from policies summary in the GUI

However, command line shows the correct number of clients

root@womble Logs_30_July $ bpplclients -noheader -allunique
Windows-x64 Windows2008 mhwin2008
Solaris SunOS womble

any servers access from multiple NIC will likley also show up in the "Host Properties/clients".

Except from VMware I would say "bpplclients -noheader -allunique" tells the truth.
