OST based disk backups on some client failing with error code 3

Hello,
I have an OST based disk backup environment where 3 windows clients are failing with error code 3, "
status
=
3
: valid archive image produced, but no files deleted due to non-fatal problems" any idea what this means?

missing or corrupt
nblog.conf
file on the client or possible disk full or permission issues, altho' how these fit with your issues?
e.g.
STATUS CODE 3 : Status code 3 is generated when a user archive is run
STATUS CODE 3: When attempting to start backups on a media server, a status code 3 is reported.

Both the media server and client have nblog files intact they are not 0 bytes.
Also there is no disk space issues on the master,media or client
