Poor performance when restoring many files from Flashbackup-created image

Hello,

We use Flashbackup feature to backup our file servers with tons of files and folders. We are quite happy with FlashBackup performance when it concerns backup jobs.It fits our RPO/RTO well. As for restores from images that were created by FlashBackup, we can sucessfully restore small amount of data ( a couple of small files or a tiny-sized directory). But when it comes with restore of folders containing 100+ files and that have 100Gb+ in size we expirience
1)poor restore performance in comparison with file restores
2)various kinds of errors either general status code 5 or more specific TAR-related status code 185.
Also bare in mind that we tried to restore not an entire partition but a group of folders.
I've got two questions regarding this issue:
1. Does FlashBackup fit for restoring a substantial part of data?
2. Have anybody of you out there expirienced this sort of problems before?

I'm wondering (so I'm not sure) whether using/tuning NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS_RESTORE would offer any improvement for FlashBackup restores.
