I have a policy to run a backup to our datadomain and duplicate that to a local tape library (SLP) . I need to know if I can utilize 2 different nic/IP on Datadomain for our backup and duplication job.
Backup should use nic1
Duplication should use nic2
Please let me know if anybody can put some light on the current requirement.
Thank you

I would advice to implement a LACP type 4 network bond

As far as I am aware, there isn't any configuration within NetBackup to do this.

This is a fairly common config with DD.
The private NICs used for duplication between DD's is DD config (not NBU).
Look at DD documentation or contact your EMC reseller for advice.

How is a NIC going to help you "duplicate that to a local tape library (SLP)"? Local as in the same site or media server? Are you referring to pulling the data from DD over 1 NIC and pushing to it over another (which makes no sense)?
