Read Tape contenet from diffrent master server

We have a tape written from different master server located in a different country , we tried to read the content of the tape but with no luck , yes both master servers are running different catalog DBs , I wonder if there any way to read the contents without restoring the DB , all what required is to list the contents of the tapes form the second master server which located in a separate domain.

Is it possibile ?

Yes. It is called Import. Put the media in the robot of the other master and Inventory. Change media pool to a pool that is not used for backups. In Catalog section of GUI, select Action -> Inititiate Import. See: http://www.veritas.com/docs/000029918
