Replication to multiple domains

I would like to replicate in Netbackup from domain 1 to domain 2 which is a DR and to domain 3 which is a IRE simultaneously using the same slp, is that possible and if so how? Domain 1 has to replicate to domain 3 directly instead of going to 2 then duplcating to 3. Thank you in advance.

you can do both
The easiest way is to use parallel replication. To do that create:

  • at the domain1 an SLP  with backup and two secondary operations. One to replicate the backups to domain2 and one to replicate to IRE
  • at the domain2 an SLP that will import the replicated data
  • at the IRE an SLP that will import the replicated data

The more complex way is to use cascade replication. To do that create:

  • at the domain1 an SLP with backup and as secondary operation to replicate the backups to domain2
  • at the domain2 an SLP that will import the replicated data with a secondary operation to replicate to IRE
  • at the IRE an SLP to import the backups

What is best...... I do not have an answer.
