Restore Windows folder permissions

HankHill

Folder permissions on a file server overwritten last week.  Trying to restore permissions without running a full file restore, if possible.  Found this article and ran the command in various forms, all come back as incompletel status 2808.

Is there a trick to the command that I don't know about?  Is there a different way to do the restore?  Is there something I needed to check in my policy and didn't?

Where are you running the bprestore command?

Hopefully on the File Server as a user with write permission on the filesystem?

Do you have 'tar' log folder on the client? If not, please create the folder and retry the restore on the client.

Please rename log file to tar.txt and post as File attachment.

Running BPRestore from client with Domain Admin account.  Account has full perms on folder.  Ran from elevated and normal command line.

Created tar folder in logs folder of client, but no log file created.
