Restore failed in netbackup

Hi

I have earlier one server which is having media and master server on same physical server we have taken few backups on veritas netbackup 6.5.1 after few months we have configured media and master on two different physical machines, now if we  try to restore those older backup it is not happening

I hope some modifications are required but known , can anybody have a suggestion ?

Is the name of your old master server and new master server same?

If yes, does the new master server have old master server's catalog or was it build from scratch?


If the name is not same or if the catalog was not retained, you will have to perform an import of tapes.

What is the error that you get during restore?

Yes master server is same ,we have created another media server it has different name, i heared from someone that there is some role of bp.conf  file where some entries are required

is it ?
