Have you ever used the BAR GUI?

NetBackup Backup, Archive, and Restore Getting Started Guide

Using Java or Windows Admin Console?

You need to start with 'Specifying NetBackup Machines and Policy type' (In Java GUI, select the little hand at the top right of the screen).
Select abc as Source Client and xyz as Destination Client.
Policy type should be Standard.

Browse the Explorer-type window until you find the folder/file.

Select file(s) and click on Restore.

In the next window you can specify destination folder.

Once you've selected the Source Client & Destination Client and files you want to restore, Click on the Restore button in the bottom right, this will give you the options to change where you restore the contents!
