Obviously a permissions problem but what is causing this? By the way it's literally for EVERY file.

We are using BBU 7 and the clients are version 7 too.

Thanks!

Do you have a client installed on the VM, or are you restoring data backed up using a FlashBackup-Windows policy?

Yes the client is installed on the vm, version 7. No just a ms windows policy, I've not heard of a flashbackup policy before?

I didn't mention it before but the server we are backing up is a physical server and restoring to a virtual one. Seems to backup ok, with an exit staus 0

Thanks for that.

I've tunred off UAC and tried again, I'm not getting any of the errors in the log this time so fingers crossed.
