HI all.
I need to backup rather big DB's with Netbackup but without using the normal .bch agent file. Does anyone know if it is possible to load a different script into a .bch file.
What we want to do is to script the backup to be done with the SQL on the server but instead of putting the .bat file on disk and later backing up the folder, to write the .bat file directly to NB tape or disk.
Has anyone ever tried this or have a template on how to do this. So we dont want to use the normal script that NetBackup generates but still want to use the agent. The agent will just send a different script to the sql server to start a sql backup.
