Master = 5.1 Solaris 9 v440

(s)San Media = 5.1 Solaris 10 M5000

It's been umpteen years since I messed with SSO....

But here I am...  I have to configure 2 San Media servers to share one lto3

tape drive....

What steps do I need to set this up?

Thanks.........

Here's what I did:

I ran tpautoconf -a on both nodes....  This created the tape drives as stand-alone.

I then ran tpconfig to add the robot and to update the drives...

The system automagically picked them up with SSO...

Thanks...

get sso license installed

zone tape drives to san media servers.

make sure you can see the drives from the san media servers.

set them up as media servers on the master and add your storage units.
