SUSPENDED JOBS FAILED

i work on NBU 6.0 MP4 once  becoz of some activity related to vendor suspened the jobs after 3.5 hours his task was completed but jobs got failed.
For how long we can keep the jobs in suspend mode?

There is no limit in terms of time for keeping jobs in suspended mode. The only setting that you can do for checkpoint/restart feature is how frequently a checkpoint should be taken. (default is 15 mins)

The jobs that have failed might not be because of this reason. Please give us the contents of details status of job from activity monitor.

Were you able to restart the job?
What is the status code with which the job failed.?

Sometime back this happenend to us also , i do not know the exact reason behind this, error code is Status code 157 is an informational message, which indicates that the administrator suspended the job from the Activity Monitor. The job is in the suspended state in the Activity Monitor. It can be resumed from the last checkpoint by the administrator.

we were able to retart the job. anyone else faced this?
