Sharepoint backup failed

Hi, I configured in NBU to backup MS Sharepoint 2007 (with SQL 2005). The backup selection is Microsoft Sharepoint Resources:\. The NetBackup agent is 7.0.1. When I start the backup job, it will fail with exit code 41. No data is backed up. When the job was running, it saw the backup directory then failed.

I have increased client read timeout and client connection timeout but no luck. The firewall on the client is disabled.

Can anyone help on this?

Please post the contents of the activity monitor job details. So we can see where its falining.

Yes, it is the same issue. In that post, I ask some more questions but noboday give any further answers. So I think I'd better start a new post.

Anyway, I got help from Symantec support and managed to solve this issue. Basically it is due to hostname and DNS.

Status 41:

Issue was with Hostname and DNS.

By resolving hostname and DNS issues, status 41 error will be resolved.
