Snapshot Client Licensing

Hi,

I've been looking into backing up hyper-v using flashbackup, but discovered our license has expired for the Snapshot client. Should this not be included in our license already? Looking at our order we have Netbackup Server Enterprise Server 6.5 Win Tier 2 STD License Gov Band S.

We have upraded to version 7 lately. Can I use the same key for the snapshot client license or do I need to buy license for this? What sort of cost is involved?

You need Enterprise Client license for each hyper-v host.

"Netbackup Server Enterprise Server 6.5 Win Tier 2 STD License Gov Band S." is for Master/Media Server and you can't backup hyper-v machines using this license.
