The bpfis log seems related to a snap delete and not a creation. So it does tell us why you got a status 156.

What I have to do to resolve the issue?

We cannot tell you how to resolve the issue.
It seems you have only posted part of the log. And we are missing a whole lot of background info.

Your NBU and EV versions are both very old. Can we assume that backups have been working fine for a long time?
If so, it makes sense that nothing has changed at NBU or EV level, right?

You need to find out what has changed. Check for VSS errors in Event viewer logs. Check if there is sufficient space for VSS snapshots.

As pointed out by Marianne, you need to check if the snapshot was there in the first place.

The following only tell us that snapshot deletion was not working, but we need to find out if the snapshot was created successfully. If it wasn't created, a deletion would definitely fail.

10:35:44.081 [21132.31160] <4> onlfi_thaw: INF - Thawing E:\ using snapshot method VSS.
10:35:44.081 [21132.31160] <2> do_thaw: INF - do_thaw: parent: thaw flag on
10:35:44.081 [21132.31160] <2> onlfi_vfms_logf: INF - vfm_thaw: delete snapshot ...

So look at the snapshot job detaills or logs and see what happened before that, in fact, before your backup job starts. Snapshot creation happens before an actual backup.

Hello Marianne.

This is the first time I'm trying to make backup, so I don't know if it was working before. The NetBackup policy is for Open Partition and Fingerprint. Attached is the configuration of VSS shadow storage for disk it is making the snapshot. The size of the open partition I'm making backup is 76.7 GB while free space on that disk is 590 GB.

Thanks for your fast response.
