I apologize in advance. I have scoured the message board and tried lots of things and I am not getting anywhere.
T5240 with a QLogic HBA direct attached to an SL24 Robot.
When I scan in NBU Admin console, the drive is seen, but as standalone.
Here is cfgadm output.
cfgadm -o show_FCP_dev -al
Ap_ID Type Receptacle Occupant Condition
c2 fc-private connected configured unknown
c2::2002000e11120aaa,0 tape connected configured unknown
c2::2002000e11120aaa,1 med-changer connected configured unknown
sg.conf shows lun 0 and lun 1 on c2.
sg.conf
***snipped***
name="sg" parent="fp" target=0 lun=0 fc-port-wwn="2002000e11120aaa";
name="sg" parent="fp" target=0 lun=1 fc-port-wwn="2002000e11120aaa";
/dev/sg has 2 devices.
I have rebuilt sg drivers several times. I have configured sgen.conf to try to see the changer with no luck.
We lost our previous configuration with a hardware failure, and there is a chance the library is non-functional, which is part of what we are trying to figure out.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Ckrull,
This article helped me to fix sg rebuild issues most of times. Worth trying it, if not already followed/implemented.
