Upgrade To New Master

Hello,

I'm planning to upgrade from 3.4.1 to 4.5FP6 next week and my upgrade consist of moving from current master to a faster one. Before I do that I would like to know if anybody had done it, how it went and if possible send me steps/procedures all information how to accomplish this upgrade to a new master. My current master is a Solaris 2.6 and new master is Solaris 8, possible Solaris 9.
I really appreciate any help.

I recently did that.
First upgrade the current master to Solaris 8 with NB 3.4
Then upgraded the current master to NB 4.5
Then bprecover on the new master to NB 4.5
Then upgrade the new master to 5.0 MP3
