V-128-899 Cannot determine the netmask for interface x.x.x.x

Hi,

I am having a problem activating a CentOS 7 Boot Server.

The master Server is a Windows Server 2008 R2  Runing NetBackup 7.5.

Any time i try to run the following command:

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsetupboot -register

I get an the following error:
[Error] V-128-899 Cannot determine the netmask for interface 10.200.1.3.
[Info] V-127-75 Operation failed.

 Any help will be appreciated.

CentOS7 support was added in NBU 7.6.0.3

Thank you very much for the Answer,

We have Netbackup 7.5 Installed, can we have the update to 7.6 for free?

And what are the Requirements for the Upgrade from the 7.5 to the 7.6?

Hi Josemanuel,

If you have a current and valid support contract with Veritas, you can upgrade for free - but you will not be able to upgrade to version 7.6

NetBackup 7.6 and earlier versions reached end of support life in Februaray 2017.  The currently supported versions are 7.7 and 8.x.
