First, I read this manuals
1 - Step by Step guide for NetBackup LiveUpdate
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000019514
2 - NetBackup 8.0 LiveUpdate Guide
Pdf - https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000116397
3 - http://www.settlersoman.com/how-to-configure-netbackup-liveupdate-using-cifs-or-iis/
4 - DOCUMENTATION: The NetBackup LiveUpdate Process.
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH57671
5 - Veritas NetBackup™ LiveUpdate Guide
https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/28432500-127350445-0/v13832305-127350445
6 - NetBackup LiveUpdate - errors and won't run
https://vox.veritas.com/t5/NetBackup/NetBackup-LiveUpdate-errors-and-won-t-run/td-p/503887
Then I created the LU policy, then added the test server, and run it. After that, I start “Run LiveUpdate Polic” and see error message “NetBackup status code 197: the specified schedule does not exist in the specified policy” – like
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000090938
or this - LiveUpdate Policy is failing with error 197
https://vox.veritas.com/t5/NetBackup/LiveUpdate-Policy-is-failing-with-error-197/td-p/626949
It is curiouser and curiouser, because there are no any specified schedule in the liveupdate policy.
Q:
Where this schedule could be?

Solution:
Remove ALL live update Policies and create new one.

Hi Dmitry_K,
You haven't given any information about the client versions you are running (although I can see you say NetBackup 8.1 for server).
Just a guess - but was the client that you ran liveupdate against a 7.6.0.4 version? If so, I would read the log as it found a 7.6.0.4 client installed, and upgraded this to version 8.1.
Hope this helps,
Steve
