VM backup failed with error code 6

Vmware Backup failed with error code 6 suddenly for some of the clients. 

Error bpbrm(pid=33007) from client XXXXX: ERR - Error opening the snapshot disks using given transport mode: Status 23
Critical bpbrm(pid=33007) from client XXXXX: FTL - cleanup() failed, status 6   

the backup failed to back up the requested files(6)

Netbackup server - 7.6.0.1

I would check the events in the vphere client, to see there was any problem creating the snaphot and of cause check the different tech notes regarding status 23 on vmware backups

Snapshot is getting created sucessfully but backup gets failed with 6. (the backup failed to back up the requested files(6). The transport mode we are usnig : nbd

You may want to check bpbkar and VxMS logs for clues.
