I would like to ask you if some of you have may also observed this behavior.
We have multiple customers which get much more backup failures with VMware jobs since they upgraded to VMware tools version 10.0.X
Without any change on the NetBackup side (7.7.2 or 7.6.1.2).
It is clear to me, that this is a VMware issue because the VMware backup job fails. But I don't find really a VMware KB or somethin which points to my assumption.
The VMware tools version 10 were introduced in the latest vmware patches and releaes:

Affected are only Windows VMs.
The fix was not every time the same:
- Just reboot the VM
- Uninstall and clean install of the latest tools (10.0.6)
