admin changed VxSS setting?

I have an admin at a remote site who changed the settings on the VxSS config of the Master server.
He put the setting to Required and added an external test domain in.
Now when he tries to open the NBU Admin console he gets errors and it will not open.
It's a Windows 2003 Server running NBU 6.0 MP3.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to reset the config for the VxSS so he can access the console?
I do NOT have access to this system so I will have to walk the admin through any potential fixes.

Have you tried editing the bp.conf file?

Located: \netbackup

Also look at the registry hack to disable VxSS.

USE_VXSS = disabled.
