Hi Folks
a while back i had an issue with vss snaps and getting them to vtl, that issue is solved thankfully!!!!!!!
my problem now is this:
I vss snapshot 3 495gig drives to an alternate host which then writes the backups to a vtl unit.
There is nothing wrong
the backup complete successfully!!, my issue is that there is only 60gigs of data on each disk totaling 120gigs of data, and netbackup has taken the 1.5TB snap and written all of it..seemingly blank space included...
Is there any way at all for netbackup to ignore the blank space of a snapshot and backup "just" the data?
