NDMP backup writes its data then sits there...for hours.

More ndmp woes. I have direct attached NDMP on a remote media server. The backup puts the data on tape, takes maybe 2 hrs, 716GB,4.5m files.Quite a few... Then tells me backup complete. Then sits there ooh its been there for 2hrs now doing seemingly ...
