Although BMR has not yet added support for ZFS based file system restore, Netbackup supports ZFS backed and restore.
In case your Solaris client machine OS is non-ZFS and data file systems are zfs based; then you can still protect the machine using BMR. You can do system-only restore to get back OS first and then by manually creating ZFS file systems, you can restore them using NetBackup.
Bit time consuming way but can work.
BMR Support for ZFS is on high priority and this support would be added soon.
