Any advice on how to change all of the backup retentions of images made in a policy called host_win_5year? This is on an AIX master server running NBU 6.0 mp4.

I tried:
bpexpdate -policy netware_data_v6_v10_fm_id -d 01/01/2015 23:59:59

and got invalid command usage.

I have a bunch of images in a handfull of policies that I've been asked to put on legal hold. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

D'oh! I meant I copied the wrong policy name. The policy name is

netware_data_v6_v10_fm_id

Thanks!

Okay... figured it out, but in case anybody else needed to know...the -policy switch has to be used in conjunction with the -recalculate switch.

I recalculated the retention to a category that suited my need and I'm all set. Below is what I ran.
bpexpdate -recalculate -policy netware_data_v6_v10_fm_id -ret 22

Wish I figured out before my #$%$'ed up post!
