can i restore netbackup from 6.0 to 7

   Currently I am using netbackup 6.0 with MSL 6000 Tape library, now i am going to install another machin with netbackup 7 MSL 8096  Tape library, just I want to know Can i restore from 6.0 to 7 , if can please advise me

You will not be able to do a full catalog restore. The EMM database gets converted during the upgrade.

Hi,

You have to do 2 level of imports.

Import Level 1 - creates a list of images
Import Level 2 - selects images for importing

Then start restore the data what u need to do.
