We are recovering Catalog on a DR Linux master server 8.0 with same host name, after run a PARTIAL catalog recover successfully, i also run CAT_EXPORT -client <client name> -staging and CAT_IMPORT -client <client name> to pull back the metadata. But for some reason, the CAT_EXPORT keeps failing for certain clients, not sure what happened and how to fix it. these clients do exist in catalog.

is there anyone experiencing same issue?

thank you in advance !

MasterServer:/root # cat_export -client mklv001.kpg.com -staging

Try and check the bpdbm log for clues when you get that failure.

Try to add -source_master <source master server>, even though the hostname is the same.

cat_export -all -staging -source_master <source master server>

If this fails as well, look at bpdbm log as suggested by @RB-Infinitely. I suggest level 3.
Remember to restart NBU after creating bpdbm log.
