copy vs backup then restore

We run netbackup ver. 6.5

We have a large amount of data to move from one device to another. Instead of backing up, then restoring....is there a feature that netbackup has for just coping? And maybe keeping ntfs permissions.

I suggest you use rsync, robocopy or some other replication software.
