You can only import the Backup Exec tapes into NetBackup 7.6 (and lower) using the BE tape reader in NetBackup.

Please go through the BE tape reader compatibility TN : http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH125836 Only very old versions of BE tapes can be imported. Anything from BE 12.5 and later cannot be imported.

Also, if the tapes are encrypted, the process will not work

NetBackup 9.1.0.1 on Solaris 11, writing to Data Domain 9800 7.7.4.0
duplicating via SLP to LTO5 & LTO8 in SL8500 via ACSLS

As this is "disk ,no tape " the 'short and sweet' answer from pkh is the correct one.

BE catalogs and disk backups cannot be import into NBU.
