PLEASE tell us your actual NBU version and OS on master server?

Advice is a lot easier if we know all relevant info....

Have a look at this TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH19038

Create DBMto text file (NO extention, case sensitive) under netbackup/bin folder with value of 25, 30, or even 45 in the file (see TN for details).

You need to specify search criterea as wide as possible.

See this TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH43584

Follow this exactly ..

(Skip the phase 1 bit if you have done this )

If you see no images, make sure the date selction is wide.  The backups were taken on date xxx.  Therefore the 'start date' mucy be before date xxx and the end date, after date xxx.

If not sure, put the start date a few years back, and the end date 'today'.

Could be you have junk in your catalog or the Phase2 wasn't successful.  You should check out the debug log of bpdbm.

Here is a TN that matches your description:

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH77510 - Catalog searches in the console fail with error message: INF - unexpected return value from db_IMAGEreceive: file read failed 13

Great.. Now i am able to see the image files in the Catalog GUI. As suggested i have changed the time value to 45 and started search of images. Now i have started the second phase of import. I am very thankful for your time and help. I will post you the status of my restore.

Thanks
