Hi,

Check the TN below on how to import BE media into NBU:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH125069

I'd assume that once the BE media has been imported into NBU you can restore that data. Simple way to check is to test a restore.

I wouldn't suggest uninstalling BE anytime soon until you are happy that NBU is doing the job (restoring BE media) or all your media has been cut over to NBU and there are no legacy BE media to restore from.

HOWEVER...if you have anything over BE 12.0, this won't be possible:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH56544

In this scenario, you need to do 1 of the following:

1. Keep your BE media server until all the BE media has been expired or reused within NBU;

2. Restore the data to disk using BE, and then backup that data by NBU.

Thanks!
