move media database

i want to move media list from old decommitioned media server to a new one. here is the senario

old master and media:   netbackup 6.0 MP4 running on a linux 4

new master and media on different hardware running netbackup 6.5.4 on redhat 5.4

i am successfully restored the catalog from the old to the new but the media list couldn't get restored.

 

any suggestion

I think your problem is with more than just media - the entire EMM database will not restore on a different NBU version.

Please upgrade your old server to 6.5 then decommission the media server there.

Do a hot catalog backup on the old server, then recover catalog on new media server.
